ST. LOUIS – The University of Missouri-St. Louis men's basketball team cruised past University Health Science and Pharmacy in St. Louis 96-52 at the Mark Twain Building on Friday evening. The win is the third straight for the Tritons as they improve to 3-2 while the Eutectics are 2-6.
UMSL shot the ball from the floor in the contest, especially in the first 20 minutes knocking down 19-of-35 shots (54 percent) including 8-for-18 from three and led by as many as 25 points in the frame.
Colby Dolphin was one of nine Tritons to score in the half as he led the way with 12 points.

Taye Moore and
Demetris Phillips had seven points each.
UMSL's lead grew to as much as 45 points in the second half as 12 different players scored in the contest.
Rashad Smith scored all 10 of his points in the second half and a couple of highlight reel dunks.
The Tritons finished the game shooting 51 percent (37-for-73) from the field, including 13-of-35 from three and 64 percent at the foul line. They outrebounded UHSP 38-to-28 in the contest and had 23 assists on 37 field goals made.
Dolphin and Moore were tied for the game with 15 points apiece with Smith finishing with his 10. Davis III hauled in seven rebounds.
UHSP shot 35 percent (14-for-40) in the contest, was 8-of-16 from three and shot 62 percent at the foul line. Bryant Odunayo led the Eutectics with 11 points.
The Tritons continue their three-game homestand next Wednesday (Nov. 26) hosting Kentucky Wesleyan at 1 p.m. at the Mark Twain Building.
