WEEKLY REWIND…
Women's Soccer
The Tritons clinched a share of the Great Lakes Valley Conference regular season title and the number one seed in the conference tournament with two wins over the weekend.
Gwen Maggard and
Avery Hesseldenz had two goals apiece to lead the offense.
Volleyball
The Tritons extended their winning streak to 13 straight rallying for two road wins last weekend.
Alayna Santel led the way for the offense with 36 kills including 20 in the five-set win at Lewis on Saturday while
Skylar Weaver had 51 digs and
Caitlin Bishop averaged 12.78 assists per set on the weekend.
Men's and Women's Swimming
The Tritons split their home dual with Rockhurst on Friday. The women won 140-65 while the men were edged by the Hawks 105-100. The women won nine of the 11 events contested with
Justice Beard winning two of those while the men won five events and were led by
Mikael Larsson who also won two events.
Men's Soccer
The Tritons saw their 2025 season end with a draw and a loss last weekend. UMSL finishes the year with a record of 5-6-6 including 4-5-5 in the GLVC.
Men's Basketball
The Tritons tipped off their 2025-26 season at the D2CCA Tip-Off Classic in St. Joseph, Mo., over the weekend. UMSL fell to Northwest Missouri 82-79 and Missouri Western 71-63.
Taye Moore and
Meechy Phillips averaged 15.0 and 11.5 points per game respectively to lead the offense.
