Women's Basketball
The Tritons opened the New Year with back-to-back wins over Quincy and Upper Iowa to improve to 10-2 on the season including 6-0 in the GLVC.
Mara Rieder led the way for UMSL averaging 23.5 points, 10 rebounds, 2.5 steals, 2.0 blocks and 2.0 assists per contest.
Men's Basketball
The Tritons split their first two games of 2026 defeating Quincy 93-60 but fell to Upper Iowa 79-67.
Jake Hamilton led the way for UMSL averaging 15 points and 4.5 rebounds per game.
Demetris Phillips contributed 14 points and 8.0 rebounds per outing.
