Ludvig Granlund shot a 36-hole score of 143 (69-74) and is in first place after the first two rounds of the Flyers Fall Intercollegiate at Cog Hill Golf and Country Club's Dubsdread Course in Lemont, Ill. As a team the Tritons posted a team score of 584 (289-295) and are in first place heading into Tuesday's final round.
UMSL has five individuals in the top 15 on the player leaderboard led by Granlund's score.
Logan Mayo is tied for third with a score of 145 (72-73),
Benjamin Berger and
Dani Solavera are tied for eighth with a score of 184. Berger posted rounds of 75 and 73 while Solavera was at 73 and 75.
Campbell Cox, competing as individual, is tied for 15th at 151 (77-74).
Trigg Lindahl finished his day with a score of 156 (80-76).
Granlund holds a one-shot lead over Quincy's David Gartrell and is two shots ahead of Mayo and Parkside's Shane Stanley heading into Tuesday's final round. The Tritons hold a nine-shot lead over Parkside for the team title.
Tuesday's action tees off with the conclusion of round two followed immediately by the start of the final round Cog Hill Golf and Country Club's Dubsdread Course.
