ST. LOUIS – The University of Missouri-St. Louis men's golf team finished fifth with a total team score of 882 (296-284-302) in its first event of the Spring on Tuesday in the Houston Classic hosted by Southern Nazarene at the Golf Club of Houston in Humble, Texas.
The Tritons had two individuals finish in the top 15 of the event as
Trigg Lindahl was eighth with a score of 215 (71-70-74) while
Ludvig Granlund finished 13th at 217 (71-71-75).
Benjamin Berger, competing as an individual, shot a 223 (75-74-74) to finish in a tie for 26th.
Leo Baudry and
Dani Solavera finished in ties for 43rd and 47th with scores of 226 (78-73-75) and 227 (76-70-81) respectively.
Logan Mayo finished with a score of 233 (80-75-78).
Houston's Bryant Hiskey II was the individual medalist with a 54-hole score of 203 (64-69-70) winning by two strokes over Dallas Baptist's Samuel Jenkins. DBU was the team champions with a total team score of 850 (281-283-286).
