Student-Athletes Recognized For Academic Success In Fall 2025 Semester

ST. LOUIS – 187 University of Missouri-St. Louis student-athletes were recognized on Thursday (Feb. 5) during halftime of the women's basketball game as part of Academic Appreciation Night for attaining a 3.25 grade point average or higher during the Fall 2025 semester.

As a department, UMSL's student-athletes posted a cumulative GPA of 3.58 and recorded 67 straight A's. 75 percent earned higher than 3.0 and all 15 athletic programs boasted a 3.10 or higher cumulative GPA marking the first semester in school history that every team had higher than 3.10 GPA.

The women's basketball team led all teams with a 3.836 GPA, while women's tennis (3.807), volleyball (3.798), men's cross country (3.770) and men's golf (3.747) rounded out the top five.
