HUMBLE, Texas – The University of Missouri-St. Louis men's golf team is in a tie for third place with a total team score of 580 (296-284) after the first day of the Houston Classic at the Golf Club of Houston in Humble, Texas.
Trigg Lindahl finished his second round strong birding three of his final five holes to finish with a 70 and is tied for sixth overall with a score of 141 (71-70).
Ludvig Granlund posted back-to-back rounds of 71 and is tied for ninth place at 142 while
Dani Solavera moved up to a tie for 18th place with a second round score of 70 and has an overall score of 146 (76-70).
Leo Baudry shot rounds of 78 and 73 to finish with a score of 151 while
Logan Mayo carded rounds of 80 and 75 and has a total score of 155.
Benjamin Berger, competing as an individual
, shot a 149 (75-74).
Houston's Bryant Hiskey II is the individual leader through 36 holes with a score of 133 (64-69) and holds a two shot lead over Dallas Baptist's Samuel Jenkins for medalist honors. Dallas Baptist is the team leader through two rounds with a total team score of 574 (281-283) and holds a 15-shot lead over Midwestern State for the team title.
Tuesday's final round tees off at 8 a.m. from the Golf Club of Houston in Humble, Texas.
