BOULDER CITY, Nev. – The University of Missouri-St. Louis men's golf team is in a tie for fifth place with a total team score of 293 after the first round of the Las Vegas Desert Classic on the Desert Hawk Coyote Run Course at the Boulder Creek Golf Course in Boulder City, Nev.
The Tritons had three players finish with scores of 73 during the opening round.
Dani Solavera,
Logan Mayo and
Ludvig Granlund each finished +1 for the round and are tied for 21st overall.
Trigg Lindahl is one shot behind after turning a 74 in his opening round and is tied for 31st.
Leo Baudry shot an 80 while
Andy Hennen, competing as an individual, finished with an 83.
West Texas A&M's Luis Palomo shot a 68 on Sunday and holds a one-shot lead over Florida Southern's Max Barile. Florida Southern is the team leader after 18 holes of play with a total team score of 289 and are one-shot ahead of Colorado Mesa.
Monday's second round tees off at 10 a.m. (CST) from the Boulder Creek Golf Course in Boulder City, Nev.
