ST. LOUIS -- A total of 41 University of Missouri–St. Louis student-athletes have been selected for induction into Chi Alpha Sigma National College Athlete Honor Society as part of the 2026 class, recognizing their outstanding achievements in both the classroom and in competition.
The 2026 UMSL inductee class posted an impressive, combined grade point average of 3.784, reflecting the commitment Triton student-athletes continue to demonstrate toward academic excellence while balancing the demands of collegiate athletics.
Chi Alpha Sigma National College Athlete Honor Society was founded to recognize and reward college student-athletes who excel both academically and athletically. Membership is reserved for junior- and senior-level student-athletes who have earned a cumulative GPA of 3.5 or higher and have lettered in their respective varsity sport. The honor society celebrates those who exemplify the true definition of the student-athlete through dedication, discipline, and leadership.
Induction into Chi Alpha Sigma represents one of the highest academic honors for collegiate student-athletes, highlighting individuals who have demonstrated an exceptional ability to succeed in the classroom while competing at the collegiate level.
The 41 Tritons inducted this year represent a wide range of UMSL athletic programs and embody the department's commitment to academic achievement, personal development, and competitive success.
