BOULDER CITY Nev. – The University of Missouri-St. Louis men's golf team is in sixth place with a total team score of 584 after the second round on Monday of the Las Vegas Desert Classic on the Desert Hawk Coyote Run course at the Boulder Creek Golf Course in Boulder City, Nev.
Ludvig Granlund led the way for the Tritons with a score of 69 to finish three under for the day and moved into a tie for seventh overall with a score of 142.
Logan Mayo shot his second consecutive round of 73 and is tied fore 23rd overall with a 36-hole score of 146.
Dani Solavera and
Leo Baudry shot rounds of 74 and 75 respectively. Solavera is tied for 32nd at 147 while Baudry has a score of 155 heading into Tuesday's final round.
Trigg Lindahl shot a 79 on Monday and
Andy Hennen finished with a round of 76.
Lincoln Memorial's Edward Mason is the individual leader through 36 holes with a score of 134 (69-65) and holes a three-shot lead over Florida Southern's Max Barile. Lincoln Memorial surged to the top of the team leaderboard with a total team score of 274 and holds a five-shot lead over Colorado Mesa.
The final round of the Las Vegas Desert Classic tees off on Tuesday at 10 a.m. (CST) at the Boulder Creek Golf Course.
