RICHMOND, Ky. – The University of Missouri-St. Louis men's golf team finished second out of 20 teams with a total team score of 851 (285-281-285) in the Findlay Spring Invitational at Boone's Trace National Golf Club on Tuesday in Richmond, Ky.
Logan Mayo and
Dani Solavera led the way for the Tritons as both finished in the top five at the event to land on the all-tournament team. Mayo shot a final round score of 71 to finish with a 54-hole total score of 209 and finished third overall. His score is tied for eighth lowest for 54 holes in school history. Solavera shot an even par 72 in his final round to finish with a score of 210 and in a tie for fourth overall.
Benjamin Berger shot the low round of the day for UMSL finishing with a score of 69 to finish at 220 and in a tie for 33rd with
Ludvig Granlund. Granlund shot a 76 in the final round.
Nate Warren, competing as an individual, shot a 71 to finish at 218 and a tie for 27th overall.
Trigg Lindahl finished with a 73 to post a final score of 219 while
Andy Hennen, competing as an individual, shot a 77 to finish with score of 227.
Missouri S&T's Adam Rohizam Rizq was the individual medalist shooting a final round score of 64 to finish with a 54-hole score of 201. Findlay won the team title with a total team score of 834 (285-277-272).
The Tritons are back in action next Monday and Tuesday competing at the West Florida Argonaut Invitational at Pensacola Country Club in Pensacola, Fla.
