UMSL Athletics Has 14 Teams Earn Team Academic All-GLVC Awards

14 Triton teams registered a 3.30 cumulative GPA for the 2025-26 school year.

ST. LOUIS – The University of Missouri-St. Louis had 14 teams recognized as recipients for the 2025-26 Team Academic All-GLVC award, as announced by the league office on Monday (June 22).

The GLVC recognizes each team from member institutions that have maintained a 3.30 grade point average for the academic year. In all, there were 189 men's and women's teams from across the league earn the honor.

Those UMSL teams included women's basketball (3.828), volleyball (3.820), women's tennis (3.790), men's golf (3.731), men's tennis (3.702), women's soccer (3.678), softball (3.607), men's cross country (3.597), women's swimming (3.573), men's swimming (3.512), women's golf (3.473), baseball (3.356), men's soccer (3.353) and women's cross country (3.336).

The Triton women's basketball team had the fifth highest team GPA in the conference behind Illinois Springfield women's tennis (3.92), Maryville men's cross country (3.88), Southwest Baptist women's tennis (3.86) and Maryville women's cross country (3.83).

The GLVC had 14 league members with 10 or more teams at or above a 3.30 which ties the Conference-record set last year. Rockhurst had the highest number of sports meeting the distinguished 3.30 standard this year with 20.

Of the 219 honored programs, 131 came from women's sports and 88 from the men's side.
