LEXINGTON, Ky. – The University of Missouri-St. Louis volleyball team is ranked No. 24 in the American Volleyball Coaches' Association (AVCA) Pre-Season Division II Poll.
UMSL is coming of a 26-5 season, won the Great Lakes Valley Conference regular season and postseason titles and hosted the NCAA Midwest Regional for the second time in three years.
The Tritons return 11 players from last year's team including Alayna Santel and Skylar Weaver who earned First and Third Team All-America honors respectively from the AVCA in 2025.
UMSL has played in six straight NCAA Tournaments.
The Tritons open their 2026 season August 29 at Cedarville University in Cedarville, Ohio. UMSL's first match will be against Cedarville at 11 a.m. (CDT).
The Tritons first home match is Sept. 18 against Southwest Baptist at 6 p.m.
