Allendale, Mich. – The No. 17 University of Missouri-St. Louis men's golf team are tied for eighth place with a team score of 592 (299-293) after the first two rounds of the Midwest/Central Region Preview on Monday at The Meadows at Grand Valley State Golf Course in Allendale, Mich.
Logan Mayo and
Benjamin Berger led the way for the Tritons with each posting of scores of 147. Mayo had rounds of 73 and 74 while Berger shot a 75 in the morning session and a 72 in the afternoon.
Trigg Lindahl shot 149 (77-72),
Dani Solavera posted a score of 151 (74-77).
Ludvig Granlund had a score of 155 (80-75).
Campbell Cox, competing as an individual, is tied for fourth overall with a score of 140 (68-72) while
Nate Warren, competing as an individual, shot a 155 (78-77).
Central Oklahoma's Nicholas Canales is the individual through 36 holes with a score of 138 (70-68). He holds a one-shot lead over Washburn's Myles Tarvin and Saginaw Valley's Evan Klein and a two-shot advantage over Cox and Washburn's Henry Thompson.
Wayne State (Mich.) sits atop the team leaderboard with a total team score of 575 (283-292).
The final round of the Midwest/Central Region Preview tees off at 8 a.m. (CDT) on Tuesday.
