Peru, Ind. – The No. 18 University of Missouri-St. Louis men's golf team shot a total team score of 579 (288-291) and is in fourth place after the first day of the Midwest Collegiate at Rock Hollow Golf Club in Peru, Ind.
Trigg Lindahl led the way for the Tritons with a 36-hole total score of 144 (71-73) and is tied for 16th overall.
Benjamin Berger posted a core of 145 (72-73) and is tied for 21st.
Dani Solavera shot a 147 (70-77),
Campbell Cox had a 148 (75-73) and
Logan Mayo finished his day with a score of 149 (77-72).
UMSL's second team in the event posted a score of 605 (306-299) and was led by
Ludvig Granlund who had a score of 145 (73-72) and is tied with Berger for 21st.
Nate Warren and
Austin Rinkenberger each posted scores of 153. Warren had rounds of 78 and 75 while Rinkenberger was at 74 and 79.
Scott Antoun finished his day with a score of 154 (81-73).
Findlay's Cahle Roth is the individual leader through 36 holes with a total score of 136 (68-68) and holds a one shot lead over Grand Valley State's Nicolas Vincent. Grand Valley and Maryville are tied for the team lead with a score of 567. The Saints posted rounds of 281 and 286 while the Lakers were at 291 and 276.
The final round of the Midwest Collegiate tees off at 8 a.m. (CDT) on Tuesday at Rock Hollow Golf Club.
