2012-13 (junior): Went 9-10 in singles, playing at Nos. 4-6... tallied a 9-13 doubles mark, including a 6-8 mark with Harry Heyburn, playing mostly at No. 2...named an Academic All-GLVC selection.

2011-12 (sophomore): Recorded a 12-11 singles mark, splitting time at Nos. 3-5 singles... was 3-1 in GLVC matches... posted an 8-12 doubles record… named an Academic All-GLVC selection.

2010-11 (freshman): Tallied an 8-7 singles record… played mostly at No. 5 singles, recording a 4-3 mark… registered an 8-4 doubles mark, including an 8-2 record at No. 3 with Andreas Hammar.

Before UMSL: Played at Comenius College in Hilverson, The Netherlands... competed in several ITF Tournaments and national championships... won several titles in the A and B divisions... was ranked #1 of both the 14 and under and 16 and under district tournaments.

Personal: Born August 5... son of Rene Gorter and Hanneke Gorter-Hartogh... majoring in accounting with a minor in information systems.
