Before UMSL: Played three seasons at the University of Louisville... recorded a 3.78 ERA with 26 career appearances... best year was his sophomore season, where he recorded a 2.82 ERA in 18 appearances.

High School: Prepped at Lindbergh High School, where he was coached by Darin Scott... earned all-State, all-metro and all-conference honors...posted a 7-0 record on the mound as a senior, recording 95 strikeouts... was 4-3 on the mound as a junior.

Personal: Born July 21, 1990... son of Tina and Michael Flett... majoring in criminal justice.
