2016 (redshirt sophomore): Started 61 games… batted .306, recording 52 hits, including 10 doubles… finished with 19 RBIs and 32 runs scored… team leader in hit by pitch with 14… recorded 13 multi-hit games…  in two wins over Notre Dame College, combined for six hits, including three doubles, two RBIs and four runs scored… went 3-for-4 at the plate in GLVC Tournament win over Southern Indiana, scoring twice… in game one win over William Jewell, was 2-for-3 with two RBIs... named an Academic All-GLVC selection.

2015 (redshirt freshman): Started six of eight games played in... batted .214, recording three hits, including a homerun against nationally ranked Southern Indiana... tallied two doubles in two at bats and scored two runs, while driving in three RBIs in win over Colorado Mesa... named an Academic All-GLVC selection.

2014 (freshman): Played in two games, earning a start against Rockhurst.

High School: Four-year letterwinner at Niles North... three-time all-conference honoree... named team MVP as a senior... set a single season school record with 39 runs and an on base percentage of .534... also starred in volleyball and basketball for the Vikings... ranked fourth for volleyball in career digs (591) and sixth in service aces (74).

Club: Played for North Suburban Slammers... 2010 Sparks Pumpkin Fest College Showcase MVP Award... 2009 Illinois State Championship and All-Tournament (voted by umpires )honoree... 2008 Roselle Rampage USSSA World Series Qualifier third place... 2008 Showdown Classic first place... also played for Illinois Bash 18U Gold... 2011 GOLD Northern Nationals... undefeated in fall premier qualifier 2011... won OKCity Gold Tournament... earned bid to Premier ASAGold Nationals.

Personal: Parents are Michael and Karolyn Matthies... majoring in criminal justice/criminology with a minor in psychology.
