Before UMSL: Played two seasons at Indiana State... was 2-0 in 2014 in 20 appearances with a 4.84 ERA... appeared in 17 games in 2013, where he was 1-2 with an ERA of 4.11... also struck out 14 in 15.1 innings... played one season at Indiana Hills Community College... named first team all-region after leading the team with 20 appearances, totaling a 3-0 record with an 0.81 ERA with 27 strikeouts and just three runs (two earned) in 22.1 innings pitched.

High School: Two-year letterwinner at Cardinal.

Personal: Born August 6... son of Twyla and Robert McElderry... majoring in finance.
