University of Missouri - St. Louis Athletics

2013 (junior):  Appeared in nine games on the mound, making three starts…finished with a record of 4-1 and an ERA of 2.83 in 35 innings pitched… struck out 25 batters and held opposing hitters to a .233 batting average… picked up win in relief against Missouri S&T going four and two-thirds of an inning, while striking out five… recorded victory in five and two-thirds of relief work against Drury allowing no runs.

Summer 2013 Club:  Played in the MINK League in the summer of 2013 for the Ozark Generals going 2-0 on 10.1 innings of work on the mound… guided team to the NBC World Series in Wichita, Kan.

Before UMSL: Played two seasons at Joliet Junior College… as a sophomore, helped team to Region IV sectional championship and the NJCAA Division III national championship… made 31 appearances, recording six saves, while posting a 2-4 record… 31 appearances are a program single season third best… as a freshman, made 10 appearances, while going 1-0 on the mound… team won Region IV championship and placed sixth in the NJCAA Division II College World Series.

High School: Three-year letterwinner at De La Salle Institute… invited to Plainfield South Showcase and also participated in the White Sox Top Prospect Showcase… also a member of the Meteors boxing team for four years.

Club: Played in the Midwest Collegiate League in the summer of 2012 for the Southland Vikings and went 4-0 with a 2.98 ERA… was named to the Midwest Collegiate League All-Star Team.

Personal: Born November 23… son of Luis and Evelyn Rosario… majoring in liberal studies.
