High School: Three-year letterwinner at Kingston High School... three-time all-conference selection, including a two-time first team honoree... twice selected to the all-district first team... recorded a 2.69 ERA as a senior, registering 45 strikeouts in 41.2 innings... also batted .369 with three homeruns... as a junior, batted .350 with 20 RBIs and three homeruns, while recording a 3.80 ERA with 51 strikeouts in 47.1 innings of work... batted .324 as a sophomore, while tallying a 3.55 ERA and a 7-3 record on the mound... was also a three-year letter winner in basekball for the Cougars, twice earning first team all-conference honors... also selected first team all-district and honorable mention all-region on the hardwood.
