2013 (junior):  Appeared in seven games on the mound, making two starts… finished with a record of 1-1 and an ERA of 4.58… struck out 12 batters in 17.2 innings pitched… struck out four in five innings of work against Wheeling Jesuit… picked up win in 2.1 innings of relief against McKendree.

Before UMSL: Played two seasons at Blackhawk Community College... earned all-conference honors as a sophomore after going 6-0 on the mound with a .176 ERA, while batting .236... as a freshman, batting .214, while going 5-1 on the mound with a 2.86 ERA... helped team to two regional tournaments... team was ranked third nationally as a freshman.

High School: Four-year letterwinner at Morrison High School... two-time Sauk Valley Player of the Year... also twice named All-Western Illinois Player of the Year and first team all-conference... tied a school record for most hits in a state game with three and set a single season record for RBIs with 54 as a junior... selected team MVP and Most Valuable Pitcher as a senior after producing a .530 batting average with nine homeruns and 36 RBIs... also went 8-0 on the mound with a 1.11 ERA and 65 strikeouts... junior year statistics included a .490 batting average, five homeruns, 54 RBI, a 9-0 pitching record with a 2.52 ERA and 66 strikeouts... as a sophomore, batted .496 with 36 RBIs, while going 7-0 on the mound... as a freshman, batted .386 with 26 RBIs and was 4-0 on the mound... helped team to a combined 89-16 record during his four seasons, including a 29-3 record as a junior, in which team placed third at state... was also a four-year letterwinner in football for the Mustangs.
