2013 Second Team All-GLVC

2013:  Second Team All-Great Lakes Valley Conference honoree… started 43 of 45 games played in… finished with a batting average of .306… collected 41 hits, including three doubles and a home run... tallied 20 RBIs, 21 runs and three stolen bases… co-leader of team with 18 walks, while posting an on-base percentage of .400… led GLVC with 26 runners caught stealing and six pickoffs… had 13 multi-hit games and six multi-RBI games… recorded seven hits and four runs scored in Russ Matt Central Florida Invitational…collected three RBIs on six hits against St. Joseph’s… was 2-for-5 at the plate against Quincy in the GLVC Tournament… named an Academic All-GLVC selection.

2013 Summer Club:  Played in the MINK League in the summer of 2013 for the Ozark Generals and finished the fourth best hitter in the league with a .364 batting average… also recorded seven doubles, one triple, 20 RBIs, and nine stolen bases… led team to NBC World Series in Wichita, Kan.

2012 (sophomore): Started 25 of 30 games played in... posted a batting average of .231... recorded 18 hits, including three doubles, six RBIs and 21 runs... successful in all four stolen base attempts... went 2-for-3 with an RBI and a run scored in first game of a doubleheader against Northern Kentucky... was 3-for-5 at the plate with an RBI and two runs in series finale against Rockhurst... scored four runs in two games at William Jewell, while adding two hits, including a double... named an Academic All-GLVC selection.

2011 (freshman): Started 19 of 32 games played in... batted .197, recording 12 hits and 10 runs... went 2-for-4 with three runs scored in game one at Maryville... collected four hits and three runs in three games against Illinois-Springfield... made six appearances on the mound in relief... named an Academic All-GLVC selection.

High School: Two-year letterwinner at Lindbergh High School for former UMSL baseball players Darin Scott and Scott Luczak... earned first team all-conference, first team all-district and second team all-metro honors as a senior... held a batting average of .488 as a senior, while tallying 39 hits, 17 stolen bases and 31 runs scored... selected to the MHSCBA Senior All-Star Game... also selected to Rawlings High School Baseball Showcase, held at Busch Stadium... named to the ESPN RISE Watch list... helped team to 2010 Suburban West Conference championship.

Club: Played four years of club for St. Louis Gamers for head coach Nick Beckmann... during summer of 2011, played for the Wildwood Dodgers, helping team to championship title of the St. Louis Metro Collegiate League and qualified for the NABF World Series in Toledo, Ohio.

Personal: Born January 1... son of John and Mary Ann Richmond... majoring in media studies with a minor in business marketing.
