2012 (freshman): Made seven appearances... earned start against McKendree, driving in a run... recorded an RBI single at Illinois-Springfield... named an Academic All-GLVC selection.

2011: Redshirted.

High School: Three-year letterwinner at Camdenton High School for head coach Matt Moulder... earned first team all-district honors as a senior after batting .341 with 24 RBIs and three homeruns... also a two-year letterwinner in soccer for the Lakers.

Personal: Born February 6... son of Mark and Kim Thompson... majoring in nursing.
