Before UMSL: Spent one year at Loyola and two years at Saint Louis.

High School: Prepped at Saint Louis High... tabbed the 2010 St. Louis Post-Dispatch Player of the Year as a senior... helped the junior Billikens to a third-place state finish his senior year... named NSCAA All-Region and was a member of the 2010 ESPN Rise All-Missouri Team... graduated with 18 careeer goals and 33 assists... two-time all-state selection, earning first team honors as a senior.

Personal: Born November 11... son of Rich and Mim Hoffman... working on graduate degrees in accounting and information technology management.
