COACHING EXPERIENCE
  • Enters his eighth season as the head men’s and women’s swimming coach in the 2024-25 season.
  • Prior to UMSL, spent two seasons as the assistant men’s and women’s swimming coach at Henderson State. While there, 21 school records were broken, three individuals and six relays qualified for the NCAA DII Championships and five All-American honors were earned.
  • Began his coaching career as a graduate assistant at his alma mater, Truman State.
  • Also has coaching experience with the Riptide Swim Club and the Woodson Estates Swim Club.
  • Serves as a camp coach for the University of Florida Athletic Association, Gator Swim Camp.

COACHING HIGHLIGHTS
  • During his UMSL tenure, has developed the men’s and women's program into ones that are nationally recognized.
  • The 2023-24 year saw five All-America distinctions with Conley Savage and Justice Beard earning First Team All-America honors.
  • Sent 10 swimmers to nationals in 2023-24 matching the program's best. Six individuals and two relays.
  • The 2022-23 season saw four All-America distinctions with Jon Osa and Zara Konstapel earning First Team All-America honors.
  • The 2021-22 season saw the program send 10 swimmers to nationals which was the most in program history with three earning All-America distinction.
  • The 2019-20 year saw seven All-America distinctions and the program earn its first national ranking, which included a season-high of No. 16 in the February poll.
  • UMSL sent two individuals and a relay to the NCAA DII Championships.
  • In his first season, directed the women's team to a program-best seventh-place finish at the GLVC Championships. He also coached sophomores Merel Visser and Patryk Golinski to All-American honors. Visser became the women's first-ever All-American, earning honorable mention honors in the 1,000-yard freestyle after placing 16th in that event at the NCAA Championships. Golinski was an honorable mention All-American in the 1,650-yard freestyle, also recording a 16th place finish at the NCAA Championships.

SWIMMING EXPERIENCE
  • Swam at Truman State from 2009-13 where he was a three-time all-conference selection and a two-time team captain. Also held school records in the 100 and 200-yard breaststrokes.
EDUCATION
  • Earned a Bachelor of Science in Exercise Science, Sports & Recreation Management in 2013
  • Earned a Masters of Arts in Leadership, Coaching and Sports Administration in 2015
