2013 SECOND TEAM ALL-GLVC WEST DIVISION

2013: Second Team All-Great Lakes Valley Conference West Division... started all 54 games in centerfield... batted .320, recording 55 hits, including nine doubles, one triple and five homeruns... batted in 23 runs, while scoring team-high 41 runs... posted a team-best 19 game hitting streak that spanned from mid-March to mid-April... reached base in 30 consecutive games... went 4-for-6 in sweep at Rockhurst... was 3-for-5 in second game at Southern Indiana, while scoring two runs... was 3-for-4 against Delta State with two runs... scored five runs in doubleheader against Lindenwood-Belleville... blasted two homeruns in first game in doubleheader against Illinois-Springfield... Academic All-GLVC.

Before UMSL: Played two seasons at the University of Memphis... as a sophomore, started 43 of the 46 games in the outfield with 34 of those starts coming in left field...recorded 22 hits and 11 runs scored and committed just one error in the outfield for a fielding percentage of .984... selected to the Conference USA All-Freshman Team after batting a team fourth-best .243... also recorded 27 hits, including six doubles, and tallied 15 RBIs and 11 runs scored, while starting 40 of 44 games in right field and posting a 1.000 fielding percentage.

High School: Prepped at Cor Jesu Academy where she was a four-time all-district, all-conference and all-region selection as well as being named team MVP during her senior season... as a senior, batted .500 with a .965 fielding percentage... finished four-year career with a .379 batting average, seven home runs, 55 RBI and a .605 slugging percentage... helped lead her team to two conference championships and is the state record holder for most home runs in a game with three as a freshman.

Personal: Born July 9... daughter of Greg and Jill King... father was a two-time all-conference baseball player at UMSL, earning First Team All-MIAA honors in 1985... majoring in elementary education.
