  • Directed Lincoln to its most successful season in school history with a 15-13 record – tying season records for most wins in a season and most conference wins during the 2011-12 campaign.
  • Also spent five years at Moberly Area Community College, including three seasons (2006-09) as the program’s head coach, where her teams combined for a 56-37 record.
  • Began coaching career as a graduate assistant at her alma mater, Central Missouri
COACHING HIGHLIGHTS
  • Has guided the Tritons to 10 GLVC Tournaments, including eight appearances in the quarterfinals and the semifinals in 2018, 2021 and 2022.
  • Directed 2013-14 team and 2021-22 team to NCAA Tournament.
  • Her 2021-22 team posted school records for overall wins (23) and conference wins (17), notching a 20-win season for just the fourth time in program history. The Tritons also went 17-3 in GLVC play en route to claiming the GLVC Central Division championship. The team advanced to the NCAA Tournament for the third time in school history.
  • The 2019-20 team just missed a spot in the league's annual postseason affair, but won nine of its last 11 games en route to a 16-13 record.
  • Her 2017-18 team posted a 21-6 record, notching a 20-win season for just the third time in program history, while the 21 wins ties the program's second most. The Tritons also went 14-4 in play, a then program-best, en route to claiming in the Central Division regular season. During the season, put together a 14-game win streak, which tied a program record, while other highlights included a 12-0 record in games played in the Mark Twain Building, senior Johnson recording the program's first-ever triple-double and the Tritons advancing to the Tournament semifinals for just the third time in program history.
  • The 2016-17 squad posted a 16-12 record, in which they won seven of their final eight regular season games to not only secure a Tournament bid, but to lock up a first round home game. Two of those wins were back-to-back home victories over No. 20 Southern Indiana and No. 17 Bellarmine.
  • During the 2013-14 season, Vaughn directed the Tritons the program’s second-ever NCAA Tournament appearance and a record of 21-8, the second most wins in program history. raced out to an 11-1 start, the program’s best since 1988-89, and tallied a 10-game win streak, third longest in program history. The Tritons also started play with a 4-0 mark for the first-time ever and finished with a 13-5 mark, recording the most wins since the 1999-2000 team won 14. finished third in the West Division standings and were fourth overall. Other season highlights included receiving votes in the USA Today Sports Division II Top 25 poll. Vaughn’s team led the in scoring defense, three-point field goal percentage defense and rebounding defense. Nationally in NCAA DII, ranked ninth in rebounding margin, 17th in scoring margin and 20th in scoring defense.
  • Vaughn wasted no time turning around the program in her first season, guiding the Tritons to a 15-12 record, their first winning season since 2005-06. also posted a 10-8 mark. Among the victories, Vaughn led to it’s first-ever win over Drury and had two players named Player of the Week, including junior Washington, who became the first player in program history to earn the award.
