Becky Fleming in in her second year with the UMSL women’s soccer program as the graduate assistant coach.

Fleming comes to UMSL following a stellar playing career for Great Lakes Valley Conference rival Quincy University. She led the Lady Hawks in scoring each of her four seasons accumulating 52 goals and 30 assists for 131 total points which places her second in career points, second in career goals and first in career assists in program history. Fleming won Quincy’s Check Berry award for Most Outstanding Newcomer and finished her career by winning Quincy’s Mart Heinen Career Achievement Award in recognition of her outstanding body of work in a Lady Hawk uniform.

At Quincy, Fleming was a three-time NSCAA All-American, three-time Daktronics All-American, four-time NSCAA and Daktronics All-Region selection, four-time First Team All-GLVC selection, was twice named GLVC Offensive Player of the Year and was the 2006 GLVC Freshman of the Year.

She also excelled in the classroom, earning GLVC Academic All-Conference recognition four times, NSCAA Scholar All-American and was a two-time ESPN the Magazine Academic All-American.

Fleming is a native of St. Louis and graduated from Trinity High School in 2006. She is the daughter of Ed and Kathy Fleming and has four sisters, Laurie, Beth, Teresa and Julie and three brothers, Danny, Jeff and Chris. She will pursue her Masters Degree in social work while at UMSL.
