Chris Sellers is in his third year as an assistant coach at UMSL and his 13th serving as an assistant for Head Coach Wendy Dillinger.
Sellers was a volunteer assistant coach under Dillinger at Iowa State for four years and an assistant coach at Washington University in St. Louis for six years, also under Dillinger.
His other coaching experience includes head girls coach at MICDS for five years and head girls coach at Bloomington South. Sellers also has 19 years of US youth soccer coach experience, including stints with Missouri Rush, Ames Soccer Club, JB Marine, Bloomington Cutters and Shaler Soccer Club.
He currently also serves as an assistant coach of the Missouri Rush U10 Boys and is a math teacher at Jennings Senior High School College Preparatory Academy.
Sellers earned a Bachelor of Science in Chemistry and Mathematics from Westminister College (Pa.), where he was a 12-time NAIA All-American in swimming and diving from 1992-95. He was also a three-time NAIA All-Academic honoree.
Sellers earned his Master of Arts in Teaching Chemistry from Indiana University.
