Eric Walker is a Saint Louis Native who has an extensive background in goalkeeping. He most recently played for Saint Louis City 2 for 2 seasons (2022- 2023). His mentors include top tier goal keeper coaches Tim Kelly and Alex Langer.
Walker took a step away from professional soccer to dig deeper and figure out what he truly wanted to do with his soccer career and has ultimately fallen in love with coaching. He says, “Coaching has given me a new perspective of the game of football. Seeing the game as a coach instead of being the player on the field allows me to see the current process, individual actions, and learning from the players in training and in games.”
Walker is now a private goal keeper & field player coach in the Saint Louis Region. He has his USSF Grassroots Coaching License and is ambitious to complete the high-level licensing for coaching. He most recently helped coach the St. Louis Lions youth soccer club during the 2024-2025 season. This season he will be the Seckman High School- Varsity Assistant Coach for the 2025 Fall season.
