Gavin Scott joined the UMSL women’s soccer staff as an assistant coach in 2025. He also serves as the Head of Sport Performance and Boys 9v9 Director at St. Louis Development Academy.
He spent the 2024 season as an assistant coach at Young Harris College, helping the men’s program to an 11-3-4 record, a Conference Carolinas Southwest Division title, and a trip to the conference tournament semifinals. He also worked with both the men’s and women’s programs at Midwestern State University, contributing to a Lone Star Conference Championship season.
Originally from Ayr, Scotland, Scott played collegiately at Union University and Midwestern State. At Union, he set the program’s Division II scoring record with 31 goals and helped capture the Gulf South Conference Spring Championship Series title in 2021. He earned a bachelor’s degree in exercise science from Union and a master’s degree in exercise physiology from Midwestern State.
