2015 First Team All-GLVC

2015 (junior): First Team All-GLVC selection... led the Tritons in nearly every offensive category... posted a batting average of .375, which was eighth in the GLVC... ranked fourth in the league with a slugging percentage of .610 behind 51 hits, which included 12 doubles and six home runs... also tallied 29 RBIs and 21 runs scored... tallied 15 multi-hit games and seven multi-RBI games... had a team-best 12-game hitting streak and 20-game reach base streak... went 4-for-6 with four RBIs, three runs, two doubles and two homeruns in win at McKendree... also had a four-RBI game in win over Drruy... had three games of three hits, including in a loss at Quincy, recording a hit in all three at-bats, while scoring three runs and driving in two... in four-game series against Missouri S&T, went 7-for-13 at the plate.

Before UMSL: Played two seasons at Rend Lake College... earned all-region honors as a sophomore after batting .324 with 38 RBIs and 14 stolen bases... all-conference honoree as a freshman after batting .352 with 34 RBIs and 17 stolen bases.

High School: Prepped at O'Fallon Township.

Personal: Son of David and Lynn Busekrus... majoring in criminal justice.
