2012 (junior): Started all 17 games in goal... recorded 90 saves... posted shutouts at Missouri S&T and against Lewis... finished with a season-best nine saves at Indianapolis... allowed just one goal in 110 minutes of action in a tie at Illinois-Springfield, while stopping seven shots... named a GLVC Academic All-Conference selection.

2011 (sophomore): Started 11 of 13 games played in... allowed 11 goals in 1,105:33 minutes... recorded 40 saves and six shutouts, while posting a 5-6 record... season-best seven saves came in 2-0 loss to Bellarmine... tallied six saves in shutout at William Jewell... had five saves in shutout over Indianapolis… named an Academic All-GLVC selection.

Before UMSL: Played one season at Southeast Missouri State... started first three games of the 2009 campaign before a season-ending injury.

High School: Two-year letterwinner at Parkway South for head coach Al Trost... recorded 78 saves and eight shutouts as a senior... posted a goals against average of 0.813.

Personal: Born September 12... daughter of Michael and Karen Smugala ... majoring in secondary education-English with a minor in gender studies.
