High School: Four-year starter at Gull Lake... recorded 52 career shutouts, which ranks ninth all-time in Michigan High School history... tallied 18 shutouts as a junior and a senior, the fifth most in MHSAA history... earned second team all-state honors as a senior after posting a .947 save percentage and registering 89 saves... was a third team all-state honoree as a junior... three-time first team all-conference... two-time first team all-region and all-district selection... twice named to Battle Creek Enquirer All-Area Team and Kalamzoo Gazette Dream Team... tallied 78 saves as a junior and owned a .929 save average... also played football for the Blue Devils as a senior, earning first team all-conference honors and being named special teams MVP as the kicker.
