Jeromey Johnson was named the University of Missouri-St. Louis's Director of Sport Performance in September 2022. He oversees the strength and conditioning for all 19 of the Triton intercollegiate athletic teams.
Johnson spent nearly five years at Princeton as an assistant coach on their strength and conditioning staff. He oversaw the strength and conditioning for both men's and women's track and field and cross country teams, assisted in the internship development program and managed the indoor track weight room.
Prior to Princeton, Johnson was an assistant strength and conditioning coach at Frostburg State University where he oversaw the strength and conditioning of Men’s and Women’s Track and Field and Softball while assisting with both Football and Baseball. Johnson has also interned at the University of Minnesota, Augsburg College, and St. Louis University where he has had the privilege to assist in the training of All-Americans, national champions, and conference champions.
Johnson earned his Master’s Degree in Human Performance from Lindenwood University, in St. Louis. He also completed his B.A. in Physical Education with Emphasis in Strength and Conditioning from Coe College, in Cedar Rapids, Iowa where he was an offensive lineman with the football program. He also has competed as a competitive weightlifter. Johnson is a Certified Strength and Conditioning Specialist by the National Strength and Conditioning Association, USA Weightlifting Sports Performance Level 1 Coach, and is a Reflexive Performance Reset Level 2 Pro.
