Aaron Stallworth

Aaron Stallworth is in his first season as an assistant coach at UMSL.

He has coached two NCAA DIII All-Americans, nine DIII national qualifiers, 41 all-conference performances (30 individuals and 11 relays), six conference champions and six Academic All-Americans.

Stallworth, a native of Chesterfield, Mo., comes to UMSL from Bethel College in North Newton, Kansas where he was the head track and field coach and assistant cross country coach. While at Bethel, he handled the recruiting for the men's and women's cross country and track and field teams. Stallworth developed and implemented training plans for sprinters, hurdlers, jumpers and relays. He also served as the director for home cross country and track and field meets. Stallworth coached 17 school records in track and field at Bethel and two in cross country.

Prior to arriving at Bethel, Stallworth was the assistant cross country and track and field coach at Defiance College in Defiance, Ohio. He mentored a HCAC Female Sprinter/Hurdler of the Year and HCAC Male Newcomer of the Year and coached two school records and 24 top 10 performances in track and field.

Stallworth began his coaching career as a graduate assistant coach at Wisconsin Lutheran where he coached 14 school records and 55 total top 10 performances for the men's and women's track and field teams.

Stallworth competed in sprints/jumps as a student-athlete at Aurora University in Aurora, Ill., where he earned his bachelor's degree in sport management.
