University of Missouri - St. Louis Athletics

Alex Miner joined the University of Missouri- St. Louis athletic department in February of 2023 as the Assistant Director of Athletics for Academics and has served as the Assistant Volleyball Coach since September 2020. 
 
In her role, Miner oversees academics and supervises the Department of Athletics' Program for Academic Success, providing student- athletes the opportunity to create and enhance their study habits, time management, and organizational skills to reach academic success.

Miner is no stranger to UMSL as she was a former student-athlete on the women's volleyball team at the University of Missouri- St Louis having earned both a Bachelor of Liberal Studies in Psychology and Gender Studies in 2019 and Master of Higher Education in 2022. She extended her graduate studies in College Access and Student Leadership.. She previously worked across campus in the College of Nursing as the Pre-Clinical Academic Advisor and Student Success and Retention Coach.
