2013 (Junior): Started all 32 matches... third on team with 211 kills, an average of 1.80 per set... also averaged 2.49 digs per set... tallied season-high 12 kills in five-set win over Ashland, while also adding 15 digs... recorded career-high 22 digs in five-set loss to nationally ranked Truman State, while adding three block assists... named a GLVC Academic All-Conference selection.

2012 (Sophomore): Started 21 of 30 matches played in... averaged 1.66 kills and 0.87 digs per set... recorded a season-best 15 kills in four-set win over Wayne State, while adding eight digs... finished with 13 kills in five-set win over Southern Indiana... had season-best 13 digs twice, including at McKendree in five-set win and in sweep against Northern Michigan... named a GLVC Academic All-Conference selection.

Before UMSL: Spent two seasons at Drake University... redshirted during the 2010 season and saw limited playing time as a freshman.

High School: Four-year letterwinner at Kennedy High School, where she was an Iowa Class 4A first team all-state honoree as a senior after earning second team and honorable mention honors as a junior and sophomore, respectively... helped team to the state tournament semifinals as a senior, while earning all-tournament laurels in the process... was also a three-time all-district and three-time first team all-Mississippi Valley Conference honoree... led the state tournament field in kills as a junior... also played basketball for the Cougars, helping team to two third place finishes in state, and was a three-year letterwinner in tennis.

Club: Played for Six Pack Volleyball Club... 16's team finished tied for third in the National Championships... 18's team won title in the Kansas City - Show Me Qualifier.

Personal: Born March 24... daughter of Jon and Annette Brightwell... earned her undergraduate degree in business administration with a minor in management and currently pursing her MBA.
