A long-time veteran in the field, Faith Boone re-joined UMSL’s Athletics Department in the fall of 2007 following her 1984-1995 tenure as an Athletic Trainer and is responsible for the primary care of injured student-athletes, which involves injury evaluation, treatment, and rehabilitation. Boone’s extensive experience as an athletic trainer includes Hazelwood East High School (1995-1999), St. Charles Community College (1999-2007), and the United States Olympic Volleyball Team (2005-2007).

Faith was the Soccer Coach at Trinity Catholic High School from 2006-2007, at St. Louis Community College at Florissant Valley (2002-2003), St. Thomas Aquinas-Mercy High School (1993-2003), and Alton (IL) High School (1992-1994); in addition, she was a high school soccer official from 2002-2005.

Boone is a native of St. Louis, a former college tennis player, a member of the Missouri Air National Guard- USAF, the National Athletic Trainers Association, the United States Olympic Committee, the National Soccer Coaches Association of America, the Women’s Sports Foundation, the United States Tennis Association, and the United States Volleyball Association.

Faith earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in Psychology from UMSL in 1984 and resides in St. Louis, Mo.
