CREVE COEUR, MO. – The University of Missouri-St. Louis women's soccer team lost a 2-0 decision to visiting Lewis on Friday afternoon in Great Lakes Valley Conference action.
The Flyers netted one goal in each of the halves to improve to 2-5-4 overall, including 2-4-3 in the GLVC, while UMSL slips to 5-6 and 3-6 in the league with its fifth straight loss. The game was played at Lou Fusz Soccer Complex after significant rain prompted the move to a turf field.
Lewis owned a 14-8 advantage in shots, including a 6-3 edge in shots on goal. Juniors

Laura Hurlbut each had two shots for the Tritons.
UMSL returns to the field on Sunday, hosting No. 13 ranked Wisconsin-Parkside at 12 p.m.
