ST. LOUIS, MO. – Junior
Lucy Devereux scored her first goal of the season one minute and 15 seconds into overtime to give the University of Missouri-St. Louis women's soccer team a 1-0 win over visiting Quincy on Sunday afternoon in Great Lakes Valley Conference action.
The win snapped a six-game losing streak to the Hawks and moves the Tritons to 7-8-1 overall, including 5-8-1 in the GLVC. Quincy dips to 7-8-2 and 6-6-2 in the league.
Devereux's shot came from the right side off a cross from junior
Hunter Wagoner and was just the second shot attempt by the Tritons after halftime.
Quincy out-shot the Tritons, 13-7, and owned a 7-2 edge in shots on goal. Junior keeper
Megan Ohm recorded a season-best seven saves, playing all 91:15 in goal.
