RENSSALEAR, IND. – Junior
Hannah Miller recorded a career-best 13 kills to help the University of Missouri-St. Lois volleyball team to a 25-21, 25-22, 25-23 Great Lakes Valley Conference win at Saint Joseph's on Sunday afternoon.
Miller hit .455 and added two blocks as the Tritons improve to 13-8 overall, including 8-5 in the GLVC, while closing out a seven-match road trip. Saint Joseph's, which saw a five-match win streak snapped with the loss, drops to 9-14, 3-10 in the league.
Senior
Haley Brightwell added 10 kills, while junior
Lindsay Meyer dished out 40 assists and tallied 11 digs. The Tritons tied a season-best .333 hitting percentage, paced by junior
Jessica Plosss' .625 mark. Ploss tallied five kills in eight attempts with no errors and also led the squad with three blocks.
UMSL returns home on Tuesday for the first time since Oct. 4 to host Maryville at 7 p.m.
