Haley Brightwell recorded a match-high 11 kills, while senior
Emily Bragaw tallied 20 digs as the University of Missouri-St. Louis volleyball team posted a 25-21, 25-17, 25-20 win over visiting Maryville on Tuesday night in Great Lakes Valley Conference action.
The Tritons, playing at home for the first time since October 4, improve to 14-8 overall, including 9-5 in the GLVC, while Maryville falls to 14-11 and 5-9 in the league. The win also avenged an earlier season 3-1 loss to the Saints. UMSL is now 6-1 at home this season.

Jory Siebenmorgen followed with eight each, while junior
Lindsay Meyer dished out 41 assists and added eight digs and two service aces.
After Maryville tied the first set at 12-12, the Tritons scored seven unanswered, taking a 19-12 lead on Miller's solo block. Miller finished with three blocks in the opening frame before finishing with four as UMSL owned a 5-2 advantage in blocks.
UMSL raced out to an 8-2 lead in the second set and received five kills in 10 attempts with no errors from Siebenmorgen. The Tritons finished with 15 kills, hitting .279 as a team in that set.
Maryville owned an early 5-3 lead in the third set before a 6-1 run by the Tritons gave them a 9-6 lead. Siebenmorgen had two kills and a service ace during that run, while Brightwell also tallied two kills.
UMSL continues its current three-match homestand on Saturday, hosting Southern Indiana at 5 p.m. The Tritons then close out the home portion of their schedule on Sunday, hosting Bellarmine at 12 p.m. on Senior Day.
