SPRINGFIELD, MO. – The University of Missouri-St. Louis women's soccer team fell short at Drury on Sunday in a 1-0 loss to the Panthers in Great Lakes Valley Conference action.
Drury scored in the 12
th minute, netting the game-winner from three yards out in center front of the goal.
UMSL slips to 5-5 overall, including 3-5 in the GLVC, while Drury moves to 5-2-3 and 3-2-3 in the league.
The Tritons lost despite outshooting their opponents, 14-12. Both teams placed six shots on goal. Junior
Sidney Allen recorded three shots, while juniors
Mary Hoffmann,
Kali Thomas and
Hunter Wagoner each finished with two.
Junior
Megan Ohm played all 90 minutes in goal, registering five saves.
UMSL returns home on Friday, hosting Lewis at 5 p.m.
