Gina Pezze tallied a career-best 14 kills to help the University of Missouri-St. Louis volleyball team to a 3-1 Great Lakes Valley Conference win at Quincy on Friday night.

Junior
Lindsay Meyer added 43 assists and 23 digs in the 25-20, 27-25, 21-25, 25-18 win. UMSL improves to 16-10 overall, including 11-6 in the GLVC. The Tritons will close out the regular season tomorrow at No. 24 ranked Truman State at 6 p.m. Quincy slips to 10-18 and 5-12 in the league.

Sophomore
Jory Siebenmorgen also notched a double-double with 12 kills and 11 digs as the Tritons tallied 52 kills as a team and hit .172 in the win. Junior
Hannah Miller also reached double digits with 10 kills and added three service aces and two blocks.

The Hawks hit .145 and registered 50 kills, while owning a 10-4 blocking advantage.

Pezze tallied five of her kills in the opening set, while in the second frame, UMSL rallied from an 18-12 deficit and scored three straight, including two kills from senior
Haley Brightwell to garner the win. Siebenmorgen recorded five kills in that frame, while Meyer recorded 12 assists and seven digs.

Emily Bragaw also finished with 23 digs, while junior
Jessica Ploss led the squad with three blocks.
