KIRKSVILLE, MO. - The University of Missouri-St. Louis volleyball team closed out the regular season on Saturday night with a 3-1 Great Lakes Valley Conference loss at No. 24 ranked Truman State.
The host Bulldogs rallied for wins in the first two sets and hit .263, while limiting the Tritons to .131 hitting behind a 13-5 blocking advantage. UMSL owned a 16-11 lead in the first set before Truman State reeled off 10 unanswered to take a 21-16 lead en route to the win. The Tritons then rallied from an 18-13 deficit in the second set and got to set point at 24-22, but saw the Bulldogs score four straight to garner the win.
Truman State won by set scores of 25-19, 26-24, 22-25, 25-15. UMSL falls to 16-11 overall and ends GLVC play with an 11-7 record, while Truman State improves to 25-3 and 17-1 in the league. Both teams will begin play in the 2014 GLVC Tournament on Thursday. Complete bracket information with pairings and times will be released later tonight by the conference office.

Hannah Miller led the Tritons with 12 kills, hitting .435, while sophomore
Lexi Rogers came off the bench to tally 10 kills in the final two sets. Junior
Lindsay Meyer dished out 44 assists and tallied 12 digs, while senior
Emily Bragaw registered 23 digs.
