Box Score 2 KIRKSVILLE, MO. – The University of Missouri-St. Louis baseball team recorded 22 hits, including 17 in game two, as the Tritons swept Truman State on Saturday to close out a four-game Great Lakes Valley Conference series. The Tritons posted a 3-2 win in the first game before a 7-3 victory in game two.
Senior
Michael Budka recorded five hits on the day, including three doubles and a homerun, while batting .625.
UMSL, which took three of four games from the Bulldogs, improves to 19-17 overall, including 17-11 in the GLVC. Truman State slips to 19-21 and 14-14 in the league.
The Tritons return to action Wednesday, hosting McKendree in a pair of non-conference games with a 1 p.m. start.

Ben Klaustermeier tossed his first complete game victory, scattering five hits, while striking out two and issuing no walks.
After allowing a run to the Bulldogs in the first inning, the Tritons scored three in the top of the second to help garner the win. Seniors

Truman State got one run back in the sixth for the final score.
Budka was one of five players to record a hit, tallying a double for the game's only extra base hit.
GAME 2: UMSL 7, Truman State 3 (9 innings)UMSL bettered yesterday's season-high of 15 hits with 17 in the game two victory. Budka finished with four hits, including two doubles and a homerun, and added three RBIs, while Richmond and Garlington each tallied three hits.
The Tritons jumped out to a 5-0 lead after three innings, including a four-run third inning in which Budka delivered a three-run homerun.

Zach Sedlacek earned the win, tossing seven innings. He struck out five, while allowing six hits. Sophomore
Alan Frank tossed two innings in relief, giving up just one hit, while striking out two.
