KANSAS CITY, MO. – The University of Missouri-St. Louis women's soccer team was outshot for just the second time this season, but held on for a 2-1 road win at Rockhurst on Sunday afternoon, its seventh straight victory.

Taylor Tosovsky scored her second goal of the season from 27 yards out off a direct kick in 28

Rockhurst prevented the shutout with a goal in the 70
th minute on a 10-yard shot that went past Tritons keeper
Megan Ohm inside the right post.
UMSL improves to 9-1-2 overall, the program's most wins since the 2007 team finished with 12 victories. The Tritons also move to 7-1-2 in league play. Rockhurst falls to 4-4-4 overall and 4-4-1 in the conference.
Both teams placed six shots on goal with the Hawks took 17 shots to UMSL's 13. Rockhurst took six shots in the final 11 minutes, including one that was saved by Ohm with 1:17 to play. Ohm played all 90 minutes in goal, finishing with five saves.
Tosovsky took five shots, landing two on goal, while Mosier and junior
Kayla Delgado had two shots each.
UMSL continues its current five-game road swing next weekend, traveling to McKendree on Friday at 5 p.m. and to Illinois Springfield on Sunday at 12 p.m.
