LEBANON, ILL. –The University of Missouri-St. Louis men's soccer team saw host McKendree score with two minutes and 30 seconds to play to break a scoreless game, while handind the Tritons a 1-0 loss on Friday night in Great Lakes Valley Conference action.
 
The Bearcats' Aubrey Disseler headed in the game-winner off a cross as UMSL was playing a man down following a red card ejection just minutes before the goal.
 
UMSL slips to 5-6-2 overall, including 4-5-2 in the GLVC, while McKendree improves to 5-7 and 5-6 in the league.
 
The Tritons were outshot, 22-13, but edged the Bearcats in shots on goal, 6-5. UMSL held 9-6 advantage in shots in the final 45 minutes of play after McKendree outshot the Tritons, 16-2, in the first half.
 
Senior Jon Huelsman took a team-high four shots, landing one on goal, while senior Connor Carnduff placed both shots on target.
 
Junior Jack Filla played all 90 minutes in goal, recording four saves.
 
UMSL wraps up a four-game road trip at Illinois Springfield on Sunday at 2:30 p.m.
